Eyyyy back from the dead now that final exams are over (I should've probably said I was abstaining from drawing whenmy course was getting more full on... I'll try to remember that for next time >_>)

Nothing much has happened other than Sun & Moon hype, a friend getting me into *shrudder* Undertale lol and my art skills probably becoming super rusty. I did leave some loose ends I forgot to follow up on before disappearing into the real world (ClayLynn I'm so sorry OTL I'll message you once I'm done with the cards!) so time to get back on track and start drawing again!

I've decided I'll begin uploading my pseudo-daily sketches and unfinished works in my scraps. The majority of what I draw doesn't end up getting inked or copic'd as a lot of times I work on them on the train or during spare time where I can't do much else.

I'm always hesitant to post them but I might as well use the scraps function on DA and be more active! Be sure to watch for scraps if you're keen or to opt out if you'd prefer my more finished works.

PS - I'm in the second half of my uni semester and studies take priority so there'll be days I won't be very productive art-wise ;-;

Hey everyone, hope you've been having a good 2016 so far!


I'm making this journal to let you know of where I am at the moment with my art and just give an update of things. First things first, for me this year will be another year of science studies at a new university and also AN ACTUAL JOB?! While my schedule fills up I'm hoping to get into a good routine and not letting art time slip away from me for months on end again.

I've picked up the "Draw a Day" challenge for this year and although I haven't always been producing something upload-worthy (sometimes it's just been doodles on a notepad at work), I've definitely been picking up steam more and keeping it a part of my lifestyle. Also now that I'm getting comfortable in the furry community so there'll be more animal-based drawings, I'll also be keeping to my grey copics + toned paper combo as I'm quite enjoying the look of them though I've recently bought some Faber-Castelle coloured pencils (just a pack of 12 lol) so except some colours popping up now and again.

Finally, looking at the upper screen I can see I've got over 1k notifications ._. I like to keep on top of those so I might nuke them - if I miss out on anything awesome you've uploaded the past few months please let me know!
